Our factory has a bamboo forest area of 280000 acres and abundant bamboo resources, making it a national base county for commercial wood and bamboo. In recent years, the local government has fully utilized the advantages of bamboo resources and encouraged forest farmers to invest in establishing bamboo chopstick factories, bamboo charcoal factories, bamboo tool factories, etc., achieving on-site transformation of bamboo resources and driving farmers to increase income and become rich.

China is the hometown of bamboo, and as early as the Song Dynasty, bamboo was abundant in the Lingnan area. To this day, Shaoguan, known as the "Lingnan Famous County", is still surrounded by lush forests and bamboo groves. This is the largest bamboo base and one of the main bamboo production areas in the province, with bamboo forests distributed in all counties (cities, districts). According to statistics, in 2022, the total area of bamboo forests in the city was 2.2367 million mu, including 1.5868 million mu of bamboo, 125800 mu of Artemisia bamboo, 209100 mu of pink bamboo, and 54900 mu of hemp bamboo. Annual production of 40.73 million large diameter bamboo; 856800 tons of small miscellaneous bamboo. Nanxiong City and Renhua County have an area of over 400000 acres, while Lechang City, Shixing County, Wengyuan County, and Xinfeng County have an area of over 200000 acres. Among them, the bamboo industry development base in Renhua County was identified as the first batch of forestry characteristic industry development bases in Guangdong Province.

Guangzhou Gorlando's leading enterprises have made every effort to enhance their production capacity and market competitiveness through enterprise restructuring, technological innovation, equipment updates, process innovation, etc., and their product production capacity is leading the national industry level.

As one of the first forestry characteristic industry development bases in Guangdong Province, Gorlando currently has more than 50 bamboo processing enterprises, making it the largest bamboo processing cluster in the province. At present, the county has accumulated 31 bamboo processing patents and newly developed 72 bamboo related products.
By promoting the development of the bamboo industry through replacing plastic with bamboo, steel with bamboo, and wood with bamboo, we aim to create the largest supplier of bamboo container flooring and the largest production base of all bamboo particleboard in China, forming a healthy development pattern of the entire industry chain that integrates bamboo planting, bamboo product processing, edible bamboo shoots and mushrooms, tourism research and tourism.

According to the relevant staff of the Municipal Forestry Bureau, there are a total of 140 bamboo processing enterprises in the city. In addition to household panels, the main processing products include traditional products such as bamboo pulp papermaking, bamboo chopsticks, toothpicks, bamboo mats, handicrafts, and wire drawing. The annual output value of bamboo processing is about 1.173 billion yuan.
Last year, the bamboo forest area in the city was 2.2367 million acres.
In recent years, various counties (cities, districts) have taken advantage of bamboo forest resource endowments, played a leading role in enterprise innovation, vigorously extended the bamboo industry chain, and developed new forms of bamboo products, involving fields such as bamboo based fiber composite materials and environmentally friendly bamboo charcoal.
Nanxiong takes bamboo pulp processing, papermaking, and plant fiber as the industrial development direction, and introduces enterprises such as Yisheng Bamboo Industry and Shaoneng Oasis. Yisheng Bamboo Industry, with a total investment of 300 million yuan and an area of 200 mu, is a science and technology company integrating research, development, production, promotion, construction and operation of clean Bamboo textile extraction technology. The first phase project of the enterprise has a production capacity of 50000 tons, consumes 100000 tons of native bamboo, and achieves an annual revenue of 175 million yuan. Gorlando Oasis Ecological Technology Co., Ltd. specializes in environmentally friendly plant fiber tableware and has 28 automatic production lines. It is reported that the company's production line can produce 140 paper cups, 70 paper trays, and 100 paper bowls in one minute. This year, the cardboard workshop will also be officially put into operation.

Shixing County has vigorously promoted the construction of bamboo circular economy industrial park. At present, it has signed a contract to introduce Shenzhen Huali Environmental Technology Co., Ltd. to develop biodegradable bamboo products and bamboo wood composites. We plan to establish a new pattern of high-quality development of the bamboo industry with a close chain, integration of three industries, technological innovation, high quality and efficiency, and ecological security.
