The selection of bamboo skewer products is due to the need for bamboo skewers by three food factories in this village. In the past, the bamboo sticks required by these three companies were purchased from other places, which increased the company's costs. Through investigation, it was found that there is no bamboo skewer product manufacturer widely used in the barbecue and hot pot industries in Tongliang and surrounding areas.

Through long-term discussions with the property owners, it was decided to establish a bamboo stick production workshop through cooperation between the village collective and the enterprise, which received a positive response from the enterprise. The property owners invested more than 5 million yuan, the village collective invested 200000 yuan, and the village collective received an annual guaranteed dividend of 100000 yuan. This also provided more than 40 left behind women in the village with opportunities to work and increase their income at home, including three stable poverty alleviation households and one disabled woman Xu Xianshu, the village branch secretary, said that in the selection of candidates for entering the workshop, the village women's federation plays a wide role in connecting with women, prioritizing rural women from low-income families.
