The meaning of FSC - for wooden cutlery

Couple days ago, my client asked me, "My competitor have FSC LOGO on their product. can you please advise if we should add it too? what's the meaning to add it?"

Sometimes we thought people should know WHAT IT IS of  the FSC. but seams FSC is still not so all-pervading in the world.
